This past week, we spent time reflecting on the many different meanings of Peace and how important it is to remember and thank those who have helped shape the country we call home.
This week at a glance:
Language Arts: we continue reading the Phantom Tollbooth and explore homonyms and the use of words. We worked on our writing through understanding how to stretch a sentence and by adding details.
Math: we are now working on Place Value and are stretching our number sense to 3 and 4 digit numbers. We will be looking closely at representing numbers in different ways from using base ten blocks to using expanded notation.
Social Studies: we began examining the Globe and looked at our seven continents, hemispheres, and poles. We will be looking at cardinal directions and mapping shortly.
PE: students began our dance residency with Sound Kreations and are working on hip hop dance. Please note there will be a final showcase next Friday (15th) from 8:20-8:35 and we would love to see you there!

Parent Teacher Interviews will be held on Thursday Nov. 21st and Friday Nov. 22nd - Online booking opens at 4 pm on Thursday Nov. 14th.
