Happy Club Friday!

Hello and thank you for checking in :) We've had an amazing week!

Here's a snapshot of our week:

We're making wonderful progress with addition requiring regrouping. As a new concept, we're really understanding how and when to regroup. We've even started working with triple digit numbers :) We will begin our work with subtraction next week and learn all about regrouping (formerly known as "borrowing" - yes, I'm oldish)

We worked on our reading and are making progress by pausing for punctuation and adding an expressive tone while reading aloud. We've also worked on our writing as students were asked to write a response to "The City of Ember," and, a letter comparing "The Tale of Despereaux" movie to the original book.

In Social Studies, we began looking at the four countries under study: Peru, Ukraine, India, and Tunisia. We know what continent each country is from and will soon be investigating and comparing quality of life within and amongst all countries including Canada.
